TUSAAG-TTU EXECUTIVES INDUCTED INTO OFFICE

The new leadership of the Takoradi Technical University chapter of the Technical University Senior Administrators of Ghana, TUSAAG, has officially been sworn in. During a short ceremony at the main TTU campus, the newly elected executives were therefore inducted to lead the association’s activities for the next three years.

The executives include Kojo Ennin Oppan-President, Richard Apori Amfo-Vice President, Maame Ekua Ainoo-Organizing Secretary, Emmanuel Asare-Treasurer, Bernard Mayne-Secretary, Irene Mawudeku-Assistant Secretary and Sylvia Ansah as the Public Relations Officer.

The Registrar of TTU, Dr. Moses Maclean Abnory, while congratulating the executives during their swearing-in, highlighted the importance of unions within the university.

Dr. Abnory emphasized their key role in building the institution through holding management accountable, drawing attention to pressing issues and safeguarding the interest as well as welfare of their members.

He encouraged the new executives to collaborate effectively with management to promote the welfare of the entire university, while pleading with all members to support the executives in steering the affairs of the union.

The Registrar further called for deeper professional collaboration between TUSAAG and its sister unions to promote shared goals and mutual support.

The Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victor Kweku Bondzie Micah, Deans, Directors and other union leaders at the swearing-in took turns to congratulate the new executives and wished them success.
