While handing over the items, the Founder and General Overseer of Breakthrough Family Chapel International, Bishop Samuel Osei-Tutu, said the donation was motivated by the church’s responsibility to influence society positively.

β€œBreakthrough Family Ministry International has a divine mandate, and unique vision of reaching the unreached, influence society through Christ and by this vision we go out to nations, cities, and communities to win more souls for Christ. We have come to realize that if you want to go out and win souls, you have to impact society and one of the major institutions in society is the hospitals. This year, the mandate that we have is to go to the tertiary schools and right behind us is TTU. We can’t leave here and go to other universities that is why we are here” he explained.

Medical Director of the University Hospital, Dr. George Kojo Owusu who received the donation on behalf of TTU management and the Hospital, while being thankful for the donation, acknowledged its usefulness to quality health delivery.

β€œOn behalf of Management of TTU and the staff of the Hospital, we would want to thank you so much for the wonderful support.

The donated items will improve the quality of care for patients, including ensuring adequate privacy at the OPD and the Wards. The quality of patient stay at the Wards will also be enhanced. Quality health service improvement is in line with Universal Healthcare Delivery therefore the donation is timely and well received. We promise to ensure our patients from the University and the community derive the maximum benefits from the donated medical supplies.”, he said.

He however used the occasion to appeal to other organizations and individuals to emulate this kind support from Breakthrough ministries International and also donate to advance the delivery of quality health services to TTU and its stakeholders.
