On-Campus Residences

Accommodation

TTU provides on-campus residential facilities for students across its three campuses. Student residences are managed by the Office of the Dean of Students Affairs. Students are housed in halls according to gender and academic level.

Note

Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications should be submitted to the Dean of Students Affairs office.

Campus Cafeterias

Dining & Catering

TTU's campus cafeterias and food courts serve nutritious, affordable meals to students and staff. The University works with licensed food vendors to ensure quality and hygiene standards are maintained across all dining facilities.

Note

Cafeterias operate from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends.

Campus Clinic

Health Services

The TTU campus clinic provides basic healthcare services to students and staff. The clinic is staffed by qualified nurses and health officers, with referral arrangements to the nearest hospitals for cases requiring specialist care.

  • General consultations and treatment
  • First aid and emergency care
  • Health education and counselling
  • Referral to Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital
  • National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) accepted
Note

The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Emergency services are available after hours through the security office.

Sports Facilities

Sports & Recreation

TTU promotes healthy living through a range of sports and recreational facilities. The University's sports facilities are available to all students and are managed by the Sports Directorate in collaboration with the Dean of Students Affairs.

  • Football field (main campus)

  • Inter-faculty and inter-university competitions

Sports facilities are open daily from 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Organised sports activities are coordinated by the Sports Directorate.

University Bus Services

Transport Services

TTU operates a fleet of buses connecting its three campuses and selected routes within Takoradi and Sekondi. The bus service makes it convenient for students and staff to move between campuses and the town centre.

  • Inter-campus shuttle (Main, BU, Akatakyi)

Bus schedules are published at the beginning of each semester. Contact the Transport Office on the main campus for timetables.

Digital Infrastructure

ICT & Internet Access

TTU provides students with access to modern ICT facilities including computer laboratories, campus-wide Wi-Fi and access to online learning platforms. The ICT Directorate manages the University's digital infrastructure.
