ING. PROF. AMUZUVI APPOINTED TTU GOVERNING COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

Ing. Prof. Christian Kwaku Amuzuvi has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Governing Council of Takoradi Technical University (TTU). He replaces Prof. George Adjei, who has been reassigned to a new role.

Ing. Prof. Amuzuvi holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham (UNotts) and an MSc in Electromechanical Engineering from the National Technical University (NTU) in Ukraine. He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic/Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa.

His area of specialisation is Electrical Apparatus, with research interests in Wireless Communication and Renewable Energy Systems. He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE).

As an accomplished academic and administrator, Ing. Prof. Amuzuvi is expected to steer the affairs of the Governing Council, drawing on his extensive experience in higher education leadership.
