GOLD FIELDS GHANA FOUNDATION FAMILIARIZE WITH TTU

The Executive Secretary of Gold Fields Ghana Foundation, Abdel Razak Yakubu, has paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of Takoradi Technical University, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun, as part of his familiarization visit and engagement with TTU students benefiting from the Foundation’s scholarship programme.

The visit had the objective of understanding students’ challenges and explore ways to offer further support in their academic journey.

Mr. Yakubu said that the focus of their scholarship programme is to have more people in technical training institutions like TTU.

“Our scholarship programme is actually skewed towards the technical skills as well as Engineering and Sciences. So we know that as we push that agenda it means more people are going to come into institutions such as this”, he said
