A 5-member Takoradi Technical University Appeals Board has been inaugurated by the TTU Governing Council. The Appeals Board which was sworn-in by Ing. Dr. Robert Adjaye, a member of the Council on behalf of the Council Chairman, is chaired by Justice Stephen Herbert Okran.
Other members of the Appeals Board include Bishop Emmanuel Botwe, Presiding Bishop and Founder of Christian Faith Church, Appiah Adjei Yeboah, member of TTU’s legal board, Dr. Kwame Oleno Amponsah Dadzie, a lawyer, and Mrs. Jane Edna Nyame, Executive Director, National Commission on Culture.
Ing. Dr. Robert Adjaye, on behalf of the TTU Governing Council congratulated the newly appointed board members and assured them of the necessary support for them to carry out their mandate effectively.
“we will ensure that the support you need will be given and at the end of the day, your work will enhance the name, reputation and ambience within Takoradi Technical University”, he promised.
Chairman of the newly appointed TTU Appeals Board, Justice Stephen Herbert Okran, in his acceptance statement thanked the Council and the University community for the entrusted responsibilities. He therefore encouraged his colleague members to embrace boldness and confidence in executing their responsibilities.
“To my board members, be bold because when you are dealing with humans, it’s difficult. Put away friendship and do what the Lord says you must do”, he advised.
