Convocation of Takoradi Takoradi Technical University, TTU, has elected Prof. Ing. Ebenezer Boakye as its new Pro Vice Chancellor following a competitive election among four distinguished candidates. Prof. Boakye emerged victorious over Prof. Ing. John Bentil, Prof. Richard Acquaye and Prof. Gladys Quartey in a keenly contested race where he obtained 185 votes out of the 451 total votes cast.

Prof. Boakye will take over from the current Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victor Bondzie Micah, whose tenure comes to an end by July 31st, 2025.

Prof. Boakye’s election marks a new chapter in the University’s leadership, promising innovation in academic excellence and institutional development.

Currently serving as the Director for Quality Assurance and Academic Planning of TTU, Prof. Ing. Ebenezer Boakye has been instrumental in shaping the University’s academic standards and policies.
