The Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Journal of Technology (TTUJOT) is the official Journal of the TTU. TTU JOT publishes high-quality empirical and conceptual papers from multiple disciplines in order to serve the entire University community and other researchers outside the University.

The processing of this year’s volume was encumbered by the Covid-19 which hit the world, and, as a result, innovative approaches had to be adopted to enable the Publications Board stay on track to meet its deadlines. In this regard, I would like to congratulate the members of the Advisory Board and the Publications Board for working conscientiously to ensure that this publication was a success. Mention must also be made of the University’s Management for their unflinching support in ensuring that research is prioritised, even in this difficult Covid-19 era.

To the authors who worked assiduously to realise your dream of publishing in TTUJOT, I congratulate you on your achievement and also thank you for choosing TTUJOT as a publication destination of your manuscripts.

I am very confident that the high-quality papers published in this volume will prove useful to the research community by engendering further research and innovative pedagogical approaches all aimed at solving problems militating against society.
