Department of Oil & Natural Gas Engineering
The Department of Oil & Natural Gas Engineering trains students in petroleum engineering, drilling engineering, production operations, reservoir management and pipeline engineering. It directly supports Ghana's growing upstream and downstream oil and gas industry centred around the Jubilee and other offshore fields.
Programmes Offered
HND Oil and Natural Gas Engineering
A three-year HND providing practical training in petroleum operations, drilling fundamentals, oil field safety, pipeline management and well completion.
Entry: WASSCE with credits in English, Mathematics, Physics and two other electives.
Master of Petroleum
A two-year postgraduate programme in advanced petroleum engineering, reservoir simulation, production optimisation and petroleum economics.
Entry: First degree in Oil and Gas Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
