The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides training in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing processes, machine design and plant maintenance. Graduates serve the manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive and energy industries.
Programmes Offered
HND Mechanical Engineering – Plant Option
A three-year HND providing practical training in plant maintenance, industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics and manufacturing processes.
Entry: WASSCE with credits in English, Mathematics, Physics and two other electives.
HND Mechanical Engineering – Production Option
A three-year HND covering production engineering, machining processes, quality control, CNC operations and manufacturing management.
