Department of Ceramics Technology
The Department of Ceramics Technology offers training in ceramic art, pottery, clay modelling and industrial ceramics production. Students develop both traditional craft skills and modern industrial techniques for the ceramics and materials industry.
Programmes Offered
Diploma of Technology in Art and Design
A two-year Diploma of Technology providing foundational training in art and design principles, drawing, colour theory and studio practice.
Entry: WASSCE with passes in English, Mathematics and three subjects.
B.Tech Ceramics Technology
A four-year degree programme providing advanced training in ceramic materials science, industrial ceramics production, pottery and ceramic art.
Entry: HND Ceramics or related qualification.
HND Ceramics Technology
A three-year Higher National Diploma in ceramics art, pottery, clay modelling and ceramic manufacturing processes.
Entry: WASSCE with credits in English, Mathematics and three elective subjects.
