TTU STUDENTS RECEIVE AWARDS FROM BEIGE FOUNDATION

BEIGE Foundation, a subsidiary of BEIGE Capital has awarded six students of Takoradi Technical University (TTU) for exceptional academic performance and innovation in their various fields of studies. The Youth Excellence League is a youth empowerment project that recognizes and awards exceptional youth talents. Awardees must demonstrate academic prowess and also contribute in extra-curricular activities. Presenting the awards, the Co-ordinator for the foundation, Ms. Mariam Dadzie, indicated that the Foundation develop programmes to train, support, and promote youth excellence in the country.

In all six students from two faculties were each presented with an amount of three thousand Ghana Cedis (3,000.00), with investment and insurance package to be managed by BEIGE Capital.

The Registrar of TTU, Mrs. Sylvia Oppong-Mensah, urged the students to see the gesture by the Foundation as a pedestal for a heightened spirited fight for more of such awards. She advised other students to emulate the examples of the six and aspire for next award.

She urged other stakeholders to follow in the steps of BEIGE Foundation to assist brilliant and innovative students who needed financial assistance. She thanked the Group for the presentation and implored them to widen the scope for other academic faculties.
